This year’s Southern Wind Trophy is set to start next week during the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, running in the fantastic Sardinia yacht charter location – Porto Cervo. The event will be attended by such outstanding vessels as SW 100 DS charter yacht Farewell.
This month’s Monaco Yacht Show will be marked by the world debut of two Southern Wind luxury vessels: the SW102 n°02 sailing yacht HEVEA, as well as the SW94 n°02 superyacht WINDFALL. The company has also become the first yard to have achieved the RINA RIG certification.
A sister ship to luxury yacht Almagores II as well as Hevea yacht, the third SW102 superyacht Farfalla is currently under construction at the Southern Wind Shipyard in South Africa. She is due to be launched in early summer 2014.
Southern Wind Shipyard has delivered the SW102DS yacht Hevea, with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design and design by Nauta Yachts.
A sister ship to luxury yacht Almagores II, the second SW 102 superyacht Hevea was successfully launched by Southern Wind on February 22. Designed by Farr and Nauta Design, she will be displayed at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
The splendid SW 102 superyacht Almagores II by Southern Wind has been announced as one of the finalists for the upcoming World Superyacht Awards. This breathtaking vessel boasts naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, while both its exterior and interior designs are by Nauta Yachts.
The first hull of the SW 102 series, the sailing yacht Almagores II was launched with a great success by the well known South African shipyard Southern Wind on Sunday May 6 in Cape Town. The yard is also currently working on the hull 2, the superyacht Atalante, due for launch in December 2012.
Two new SW 102 DS superyachts are currently under construction at the South African shipyard Southern Wind, both scheduled for delivery in 2012.
