The winners of the J Class Solent Regatta, running from July 18 to 20, will be given an honour to receive the Corinthian King’s Cup trophy as well as the King’s Hundred Guinea Cup trophy, in addition to the Queen’s Cup trophy by Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
MDL’s Ocean Village Marina, a Southampton superyacht marina, will play host to the four J Class yachts, racing in the Solent Regatta (July 18-21) and the Hundred Guinea Cup Race, held on 21 July.
The Falmouth Regatta will be finally attended only by the four J-Class superyachts and not the six as expected, without the presence of the sailing yacht Hanuman as well as the charter yacht Endeavour. The latter is supposed to race only in the Solent regattas.
