Atlantic Refit Center is now the only shipyard on the west coast of France able to welcome superyachts up to 140m in length, thanks to the recently signed six year contract with the Port Authorities. Also, in order to strengthen its commercial team, Atlantic Refit Center have recently welcomed Patricia Pontis as Head of Commercial Sales.
Luxury yacht Skat and Hyperion yacht arrived to Holland recently and Huisfit is proud to announce that Athena has signed up for Huisfit support in the Med the coming fall/winter season. In addition, Adèle has booked a slot for 2015-2016.
The new Dutch super yacht refit facility, Strametco BV, has recently welcomed the impressive 70,7-metre mega yacht SKAT for a comprehensive refit. This will be performed by Royal Huisman, in partnership with Strametco.
French Atlantic Refit Center has won the ‘Atlantic Yachting Shipyard’ competition. The superyacht refit company was launched by the Atlantic Port of La Rochelle in October 2013, and has worked on the refit of such outstanding vessels as the 72m mega yacht Enigma (ex Norna).
Royal Huisman’s Huisfit in the Netherlands has completed several important refits in the first half of 2013, including the 70m Lurssen mega yacht Skat, the 93m Lurssen 3-masted schooner Eos, Heartbeat yacht, as well as Nixe II yacht.
Established in 2011, the Royal Huisman’s refit centre, Huisfit, has already worked on over 300m of refit projects, including such beautiful vessels as the 70m Lurssen motor yacht Skat. The company will be attending the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) that will start next week.
Following a huge success of the first SuperyachtDesign Summit held earlier this year, preparations for the second edition of this highly anticipated event are in a full swing. Taking place on September 25, it will be attended by Europe’s most respected luxury yacht designers, including Stefano Pastrovich, Espen Oeino and Marnix Hoekstra.
