This year’s 11th running of the annual Shipyard Cup in Maine will be held from August 8 to 11, hosting such spectacular vessels as the 180-foot Vitters superyacht Marie, as well as the last year’s winner – Hodgdon luxury yacht Scheherazade.
This year’s Shipyard Cup X was won by the 115′ luxury charter yacht Scheherazade, constructed by Hodgdon Yachts in 2000, with last refit in 2011. She was followed by charter yachts Rapture and Whisper, respectively. The 2013 edition of this popular event will take place from August 9 to 13.

Following a spectacular 2010 event, founding sponsor Hodgdon Yachts is pleased to announce the 2011 Shipyard Cup will be held 12-14 August in beautiful Boothbay Harbor. The cup will again be run under Bucket Protocol rating rules. Race applications and other details will be emailed to those that pre-register and those that participated last year.
Sailing yacht BELLA PITA, a 75′ Bill Tripp design performance yacht has won the Shipyard Cup in Maine during the 8th running of the event.
