A summary of the Day 3 of the 2014 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta being held at Porto Cervo in the fantastic Costa Smeralda yacht charter destination in Sardinia.
It was another exciting day of racing at the 2014 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta. Charter yacht Moonbird took first place in Class B, while in Class A the overall victory on Day 2 went to Claasen superyacht Firefly.
Racing at this year’s eagerly awaited Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta will kick off in the lovely Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo today, on June 4. The event will host an impressive fleet of 21 sailing superyachts.
The first day of the currently running Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous saw superyachts Nilaya, Freya as well as Tempus Fugit take the leading positions.
The all-new Selene 92 Ocean Explorer superyacht is currently under construction at Selene Yachts’ facilities. Her hull was successfully completed in December 2013, with delivery scheduled for the spring of 2014.
The mould for the first motor yacht Selene 78 Ocean Explorer has been successfully produced. Currently under construction at Jet-Tern Marine in China, the vessel is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2015.
Based in China, Jet-Tern Marine, a builder of Selene yachts, is currently working on the brand new 28m superyacht Selene 92. Due to be delivered in Spring 2015, she has been beautifully designed by Guido de Groot.
