The Scottish Marine Tourism Development Group , including the British Marine Federation Scotland, has developed the new marine tourism strategy to promote Scotland as a marine tourism destination of first choice.
The last day of the Fife Regatta 2013 saw the overall victory of Latifa yacht in Class 1, Mikado yacht in Class 2 and Mignon yacht in Class 3.
Today, July 4, 2013, was marked by race 4 of the Fife Regatta 2013. The winner of Class 1 has become sailing yacht Saskia, while in Class 2 has won Mikado yacht and in Class 3 Mignon yacht.

Saturday, June 29, saw the official start of the 2013 Fife Regatta. The Class 1 winner has become Saskia yacht, Class 2 winner The Truant and Mignon yacht won Class 3.
So far, twenty classic sailing yachts, designed by William Fife, have registered for the upcoming Fife Regatta. The event will kick off on June 28, 2013.

Rhu Marina in Scotland has got an £800,000 upgrade, recently completed by the Crown Estate. This consisted of replacement of wooden-decked walkways as well as pontoons.
The Crown Estate is to invest again in Scotland´s Rhu Marina, situated in a picturesque location on the side of the Gareloch on the north side of the Firth of Clyde. The wooden decked walkways, pontoons as well as fingers at the marina will be replaced with more robust concrete decked equipment.
Oban Marina, situated in the Isle of Kerrera on the West Coast of Scotland has been recently purchased by new owners with effect from 9 February 2012.
James Watt Dock Marina, situated in Greenock, Scotland was opened in July 2011, currently offering 65 berths for yachts from 6m-24m (20ft-79ft). Its possible expansion is being taken into consideration, offering accommodation to yachts up to 92m.
