Today at Audi MedCup: Emirates New Zealand bounce back from the eighth place in the first race to second, and then go on to winning the breezy third race to finish the day.
Oyster Jubilee Regatta started today at the Porto Cervo in Sardinia, Italy. The event is hosted by the prestigious Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo.
Today at the Region of Sardinia Trophy in Cagliari Quantum Racing announced they will campaign for a new build boat for the 2011 season. They are the first of several teams expected to make a similar announcement.

José Cusi’s Bribón on Sailing yacht Bribon won the practice race for the 52 Series off Cagliari in a light sea-breeze today beating the leading duo Emirates Team New Zealand and TeamOrigin
As the full fleet of ten 52 Series teams took to the waters off Cagliari today for the final informal practice day, leading in to the Region of Sardinia Trophy Regatta, winds on the Gulf of Cagliari reached up to 23 knots.
The standings for the Rolex Swan Cup in Sardinia were left unchanged from Friday’s finishes. In the Maxi Class A, Danilo Salsi’s Swan 90 DSK Pioneer Investment (ITA) led. In Grand Prix Class B, Piet Hein Baker’s Silveren Swaen (NED), a Swan 53, ended the week first. In the Sparkman & Stephens Class C, Peter Simon’s Swan 65 Monsoon Jaguar(GBR) won and in the ClubSwan 42 Class, it was Enrico Scerni on Kora 4(ITA) who repeated his win of 2008.

For the 92 yachts at the dock in Porto Cervo it was a frustrating start to a promising week of racing in the Rolex Swan Cup. The yachts were held at the dock for four hours waiting for the breeze and, more importantly, the seas to abate.
