Set to run in the lovely England yacht vacation location – Solent from July 25 to 31, the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary Regatta will host such iconic vessels as J Class superyacht Lionheart, as well as the 160′ charter yacht Eleonora.
At least three of the majestic J Class yachts – sailing yacht Lionheart, charter yacht Ranger and superyacht Velsheda -will attend the upcoming 2015 Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentenary International Regatta, running in July.
Transatlantic Race 2015 will be attended by new supermaxis, including the majestic 100-foot superyacht Comanche, as well as the 88-foot sailing yacht Rambler 88. The race will start from Newport in Rhode Island in late June and early July of 2015.

Saturday, August 9, saw the conclusion of the 2014 Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week. the coveted overall winner’s trophy went to sailing yacht Lady Penelope for the second year running. The 2015 regatta will run from August 8 to 15.
Panerai British Classic Week 2014 has concluded in a spectacular style, with the overall victory for Christine and Giovanni Belgrano’s sailing yacht Whooper. The 2015 race will run from July 18 to 25.
The Long Inshore Race was part of Day 5 of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014. The whole fleet sailed the same course, which took the yachts out into the Eastern Solent for 25 miles of sailing in a 8-12 knot southeasterly breeze.
Day 4 of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014 featured one class race as well as the traditional Ladies Race. Racing will continue until Friday, July 18, 2014.
Day Three of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week saw the fleet of 52 yachts attend exciting races in the Central Solent, run by Squadron Racing Ltd.
The second day of racing at the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014 saw sailing yacht Nausicaa beat the big boats, followed by Whooper yacht, placing second.
Being hosted by Cowes in the UK, this year’s Panerai British Classic Week has successfully kicked off today, on July 14. Racing will continue until Friday, July 18, and will conclude with a Parade of Sail on Saturday, July 19.
Sir Ben Ainslie, one of the best sailors in the UK, has launched his bid to win the America’s Cup. The launch ceremony was attended by the Duchess of Cambridge, a keen sailor herself.
