The highly anticipated 8th edition of the World Superyacht Awards took place on May 4, 2013. The ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ award went to the 47m Alloy superyacht Loretta Anne, while the ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ award received the 37m Royal Huisman yacht Pumula.
Royal Huisman built Hanuman yacht heads to Palma, making it 5 J Class sailing yachts scheduled to compete in The Superyacht Cup Palma regatta.
This year’s Hainan Rendez-Vous was another great success, marked by the sale of 29 luxury yachts. The event hosted such important superyacht builders as Feadship, Lurssen, Oceanco, and many others.
The winners of this year’s 9th edition of Asia Boating Awards were presented at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel Serenity Coast Resort on March 29.
It has been a huge success for the 57,5m Royal Huisman superyacht Twizzle at the 2013 Asia Boating Awards, winning as the ‘Asian-based Charter Yacht of the Year’. This spectacular vessel will be displayed at the upcoming Singapore Yacht Show.
Spectacular sailing yacht Kamaxitha is a 55m Spirit of Tradition ketch, with naval architecture by Dykstra Naval Architects, beautiful interior by Rhoades Young and construction by the prestigious Royal Huisman luxury yacht builder; launched in 2012.
To take place from March 30 to April 2, the highly anticipated Hainan Rendez-Vous will be hosting such important luxury yacht builders as Trinity, Kingship, Royal Huisman, Sanlorenzo, Heesen, and many others.
The complete list of nominees for the upcoming BMW Asia Boating Awards has been released, including such spectacular vessels as the Heesen charter yacht Quinta Essentia. The winners will be presented on March 29.
