4th RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race and its American entries

The 4th edition of the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s Caribbean 600 yacht race starting from Antigua on Monday, February 20 will welcome 40 yachts, nearly a quarter of which are yachts coming from the USA.

2012 RORC Caribbean 600 Superyachts

40 impressive yachts will be competing in this year´s RORC Caribbean 600 race, including Racing Maxis, Supeyachts, Spirit of Tradition and Class 40s. The largest vessel to participate will be the 66m sailing yacht Hetairos.

Rolex Fastnet Race 2011: RORC confirms huge interest in iconic race

Entry for one of the world’s most popular yacht races opened at midnight on Sunday 9 January and by midday Monday, nearly 100 entries had signed up, with an unprecedented number doing so in the early hours of the morning. The trend continued over the next couple of days when the halfway mark of 150 boats was reached for the race which has a maximum entry of 300 boats. Within a week, 250 boats had entered!
