In order to reflect a prolific career spanning almost 40 years, the world’s leading yacht design studio, Ron Holland Design, has recently updated its corporate brand, as well as website.
MCM attended the re-launch of the newly refitted 27,5m charter yacht Wavelength (ex BooToo) at Holland Jachtbouw in the Netherlands. This year marks the 25th anniversary of MCM that will be also present at the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show.
Holland Jachtbouw has successfully re-launched the 90ft charter yacht Wavelength (ex Boo Too), following her extensive 6-month refit. Designed by Ron Holland, she was originally launched by Pendennis in 2002.
Designed by the yard’s in-house team in partnership with acclaimed Ron Holland, the voluminous 60m superyacht Seahawk (hull C.2193) has been recently launched by the prestigious Italian builder, Perini Navi. The yard is currently working on the second 60m mega yacht P3 (hull C.2218), scheduled for launch before the end of this year.

Holland Jachtbouw is presently working on the extensive refit of the 90-foot charter yacht Boo Too by Pendennis. She is due to be re-launched in May 2013.
April 16 saw the launch of ‘Friends of NZ Marine’; a new social media network, created to see kiwis around the world bring work home. Such important superyacht designers as Ed Dubois and Ron Holland have already signed up.
The recently launched Rob Doyle Design is a new Irish design firm, formed by Rob Doyle. He has worked with bespoke yacht designer Ron Holland on such spectacular vessels as the 75m mega yacht M5 (ex Mirabella V).
The 2013 Master Yacht Engineering class in Auckland, has recently visited the spectacular Ron Holland designed vessels: the 160ft superyacht Thalia as well as the 190ft luxury yacht Ethereal.
