The upcoming nine months will see the Bob Oatley’s supermaxi yacht Wild Oats XI participate in the 70th anniversary Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in December 2014, as well as the Transpac Race from Los Angeles to Honolulu in July 2015.
This year’s 70th anniversary Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race will host its largest line-up of yachts in a decade. A total number of 119 vessels will attend the race, including the all-new 100ft superyacht Comanche.

This week saw the recently launched 100-foot maxi racing yacht COMANCHE by Hodgdon start her first sea trials in Newport, Rhode Island. She is expected to make her racing premiere at the 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
