Horizon is scheduled to deliver its fifth P130 superyacht, “Angara,” to her new owners in Europe this summer – the 136ft superyacht will be shipped from Horizon in mid-May and arrive in Malta around June 5th.
Horizon yachts have confirmed they will participate and showcase their Horizon 136 motor yacht at The Rendezvous in Monaco, held from 23-26 June 2011. It will be the first time Horizon has attended this superyacht event since Horizon joined the SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) in October 2010 as the first SYBAss member from the Far East.
In 2010 the Monaco Rendezvousis now a very important and prestigious yachting social event for the Principality of Monaco with some 13 superyachts and their owners present for the occassion.
Chair of the judges at Rendezvous in Monaco is Head Chef to HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Christian Garcia, who kept the audience in suspense for the final outcome before revealing the winning chef, Michael Goller of motor yacht Petra, a 44-metre Heesen yacht. The judges agreed that the winners of the Prix “Art de Vivre La Belle Classe Moët & Chandon” should be Mr. & Mrs. Howard Meyers, owner of motor yacht Ingot, a 47 metre superyacht launched in 2008 by the American shipyard, Burger Boat Company.
Sometimes things just go your way and today at The Rendezvous in Monaco, the stars aligned beautifully for Lürssen’s 60m superyacht Linda Lou. While yesterday was a day for the whole fleet to cruise en masse along the beautiful Cote d’Azur, today the ladies and men went off to do their own thing. A group of 30 ladies met for cocktails at Graff’s new Monte-Carlo boutique in the Hôtel de Paris, which opened for the first time today. It was a particularly special moment for Linda von Allmen, owner of motor yacht Linda Lou,
