Three luxury vessels with design by Redman Whiteley Dixon have been announced as finalists for the World Superyacht Awards 2013: the newly refitted 74 m Amels superyacht Ilona, the 30 m Yachting Developments catamaran yacht Q5 Quintessential, as well as the 78 m Feadship mega yacht Hampshire II.
The 12th edition of the popular Asia Superyacht Rendezvous was a great success. The newest Royal Huisman luxury yacht Project 392 will boast Stratis sails that will be supplied by Doyle Sails NZ. Designed by Andre Hoek, this magnificent high performance cruising ketch is currently in build.
The award-winning Royal Huisman superyacht Twizzle has recently arrived in Phuket, Thailand as part of her extended cruising in the Andaman Sea. She will attend this year’s Asia Superyacht Rendezvous that will run from December 16 to 18.
At the moment, Pendennis is working on a major 15-month refit of the spectacular superyacht M5 (ex Mirabella V). The installing of the new interiors started earlier this month.
The design team of Redman Whitely Dixon has recently welcome Benjamin Julian Toth as its new member. Ben has been honoured with the Young Designer of the Year Award at the prestigious Showboats Design Awards 2012 for his 50m ReSeadence 50 superyacht concept.
