Featuring sophisticated exterior design by Rene van der Velden and lovely interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon, the MCM project #155 superyacht CaryAli has been honoured with the 2013 ISS Design Award. The vessel was built by Alloy Yachts.
Three prestigious New Zealand-based luxury yacht builders, including Alloy Yachts, Yachting Developments, as well as Fitzroy Yachts, have been shortlisted for the 2013 ISS Design Awards. The winners will be announced in Fort Lauderdale tomorrow, on October 23.
Having lasted 5 hours and mainly in darkness, the re-stepping of the luxury yacht M5’s impressive 89m mast, managed by Marine Results, took place at Pendennis on last Saturday, October 19, 2013. Over the next few days, her full carbon fibre and titanium rig will be put in place, using the same optical fibre technology installed on the America’s Cup catamarans.

Luxury superyacht Drizzle, built by Feadship and launched in 2012, was spotted in the port of Livorno by yacht photographer Roberto Malfatti. The 67,27m Drizzle yacht is a beautiful vessel with accommodation for 10 and interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon.
Currently in build at the Feadship shipyard in The Netherlands is the 46m Feadship hull 689 yacht designed by Dubois Naval Architects, with interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon. The new 46m yacht by Feadship will accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins.

The upcoming Dubois Cup will be attended by the magnificent 58m Alloy charter yacht Kokomo III. So far, 16 luxury yachts designed by Dubois have confirmed their presence in this popular race.
It was a double victory for the prominent NZ manufacturer, Yachting Developments, at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. The company has won in both the Refitted category for their refit of the J Class charter yacht Endeavour JK4, as well as Judges Special Award for Catamarans, for the 100-foot sailing catamaran yacht Quintessential (Q5).
Johnny Vickers is once again joining the Redman Whiteley Dixon design team and is taking up a role as director of this very successful British luxury yacht design studio.
