June 21, 2013, at the Monaco Opera House, saw the official announcement of the ShowBoats Design Awards 2013 Winners.
The highly anticipated 8th edition of the World Superyacht Awards took place on May 4, 2013. The ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ award went to the 47m Alloy superyacht Loretta Anne, while the ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ award received the 37m Royal Huisman yacht Pumula.
With only ten days to go until this year’s eagerly awaited World Superyacht Awards, the sponsors of this prestigious event, to be held at the magnificent Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul, have been presented. One of these is the respected Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise, a builder of 73m mega yacht Vicky.

Delivered by Proteksan Turquoise last year, the voluminous 72 m mega yacht Vicky has been shorlisted for the eagerly awaited International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2013. Designed by renowned H2 Yacht Design, she provides luxurious accommodation for 12 guests in total.
The impressive 77-metre superyacht Project Dream is a highly innovative concept, developed by the Turkish designer, Selahattin Üldas, who previously worked for Proteksan Turquoise. Project Dream features beautiful accommodation for up to 12 guests in 4 double en suite cabins. There is also a spacious Owner’s suite.
Luxury expedition yacht TIVOLI will be available for charter vacations around the South Pacific islands of Vanuatu, Fiji, Tuamotus and Tonga from 1st April, 2013. Accommodation aboard TIVOLI charter yacht is available to a maximum of 8 charter guests in 3 comfortable and well appointed cabins.
The total number of 16 rooms aboard the 70m Proteksan Turquoise megayacht Talisman C (ex Talisman II) now boast blinds by Oceanair. All of these blinds are automated by Lutron Intelligent drive systems.
June 19 saw the annual Monaco Yacht Show Summer Party at the famed Fairmont Hotel, with the presence of plenty of superyacht industry members, coming to speak about the MYS 2012. This year’s event will exhibit such jewels as the Benetti’s megayacht Diamonds are Forever or the sailing yacht Vertigo by Alloy and many others.
The result of successful collaboration between Proteksan Turquoise and H2 Yacht Design, the recently launched superyacht Vicky (hull NB54) is due to be delivered at the end of this month. Measuring 72.6 meters in length over all, this spectacular vessel is the largest motoryacht ever launched in Turkey.
