This year’s 7th edition of the Superyacht Design Symposium has been a great success. The highlight of the programme was the eagerly awaited ShowBoats Design Awards 2015.
The winners of the 2015 ShowBoats Design Awards were announced at the five-star Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt in Kitzbühel, Austria, yesterday afternoon, on February 23, 2015. The evening’s big winners included mega yacht Grace E that has received four Neptune trophies.
Fred van Beers has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer Management Board (CEO) of the leading German superyacht shipyard, Blohm+Voss. He will start leading the company’s growth strategy as of 1 March 2015.

The respected German shipyard, Blohm + Voss, has proudly announced the recent delivery of the 82-metre mega yacht GRACEFUL. Beautifully designed by H2 Yacht Design, she represents the ultimate in quality, engineering and yachting innovations.
Beautifully penned by H2 Yacht Design and launched by Blohm + Voss, the 82-metre superyacht GRACEFUL is presently going through sea trials. She offers luxurious accommodation to 14 guests in total.
Measuring impressive 82 meters in length, the breath-taking mega yacht Project GRACEFUL has been successfully launched by the prominent German manufacturer, Blohm + Voss. Following her sea trials scheduled for December 2013, she is expected to be handed over to her happy Owner at the end of December 2013.
The all-new plus 80m technical platform has been recently completed by Dorries Maritime Services from Germany, in preparation for the launch of their yacht brand during this month’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Dorries Maritime Services has successfully completed an 85-metre platform, based on superyacht Graceful, currently under construction. She is being built by Blohm&Voss to a design by H2 Yacht Design.
Dorries Maritime Services (DMS) has identified a new yacht building facility in Northern Germany. The company is currently working on the magnificent Graceful yacht. The all-new Project 90 Dorries yacht concept is also under development at H2 Yacht Design.
