In order to satisfy the global demand for larger vessels, Princess Yachts will boast a new superyacht facility at its South Yard site, thanks to the £4.6 million Government Regional Growth Fund (RGF) grant.
Luxury vessels built by Princess Yachts celebrate a great success in the Far East. The Princess 32M superyacht has won the Hurun Report’s annual Best of the Best Awards for ‘Best Production Motor Yacht 30m Class’ in China, while The flagship Princess 40M yacht Imperial Princess has been announced as a finalist for the 2013 World Superyacht Awards.
Princess Yachts will attend the 2012 Beirut Boat & Super Yacht Show, presenting five premieres, including the Princess 32M superyacht, the Princess V39 yacht, the luxury motor yacht Princess 72, as well as the Princess 64, the Princess 60, the Princess 42 and the sports yacht Princess V52.
Princess Yachts look forward to the construction of yachts over 40m in LOA. Currently under build is their new facility with ability to build vessels up to 70m in length over all. The facility is due to commence operations in 2013.
Princess Yachts are set to exhibit the 32m Princess Superyacht at the 2012 London Boat Show and are planning on launching their largest to date superyacht – 40M Princess in Spring 2012.

Princess Yachts International will have another impressive display of boats at this year’s Cannes Boat Show in September including the new motor yacht Princess 32M which will be shown at the show for the first time.
Model and sportswoman Jodie Kidd will officially open the 2011 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show on Friday 7 January. A stunning, high adrenaline watersports display on the Show’s new indoor pool will be followed by sports enthusiast Jodie cutting a ribbon and declaring London’s biggest annual boating event open.
Preparations have began for the 2011 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show, with the brand new Princess 32 metre motor yacht being lifted from the Royal Victoria Dock. The superyacht, which makes its world debut at the Show, is the largest boat to ever be displayed inside the halls of the ExCeL centre. At 100 tonnes, the Princess 32 metre is the heaviest boat that has ever been lifted into the Show
Princess Yachts are entering the superyacht sector with the launch of the first of their M class vessels. To be unveiled at the London Boat Show in January 2011, the 32M Princess Yacht will be the largest overall vessel to have been showcased inside London’s Excel exhibition halls.
