Europe’s leading marina operator, MDL Marinas, has proudly announced plans to invest a minimum of £20 million across its 19 UK luxury yacht marinas over the next five years.
The Green Blue (TGB), the environmental initiative of the Royal Yachting Association and the British Marine Federation congratulated the MDL’s Port Hamble Marina for completing the TGB Marine Toolkit. The luxury yacht marina was recognised for the positive steps it has taken to make the marina more sustainable.
Three of the MDL Marinas south coast luxury yacht marinas, including Mercury Yacht Harbour, Port Hamble as well as Northney Marina, have recently achieved the Five Gold Anchors status from The Yacht Harbour Association for their design, construction and operation.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Walcon Marine, the UK leader in the design and construction of yacht harbours and berthing facilities. The company hold a special evening to celebrate its 50th birthday earlier this month.
Over 1,500 people visited the 2013 Hamble Point Boat Show, which was held the weekend of 27 & 28 April at the Hamble Point Marina.
This year’s Hamble Point Boat Show is set to start later this month. Running from April 27 to 28, the event as well as car parking are both completely FREE.
All three of MDL’s Hamble marinas, including Hamble Point Marina, Port Hamble Marina as well as Mercury Yacht Harbour, have once again prepared the annual summer party for their berth holders, held on Friday 3 August from 7pm.
One of the leading marine leisure event companies in the UK, Britannia Corporate Events, has invested in a brand new events facility in the centre of the prestigious Port Hamble Marina in Hampshire. Britannia will move from its existing offices in the marina to a new event facility at No.1 Waterside Buildings.
