Organised ahead of the annual National Apprenticeship Week, the prominent UK luxury yacht builder, Pendennis Shipyard, has recently hosted a job swap, seeing the company’s Directors become their Apprentices for a day.
A total number of 6 luxury yachts shortlisted for this year’s World Superyacht Awards have been equipped with thrusters, developed by Ocean Yacht Systems. These include the all-new Fitzroy superyacht Ohana, or the recently refitted Feadship motor yacht A2.
The prestigious UK shipyard, Pendennis, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The first luxury vessel built by Pendennis is the 125-foot sailing yacht La Cattiva (ex Taramber). Throughout its history the company has delivered more than 30 Custom New Builds.
Constructed by the well known UK manufacturer Pendennis, the magnificent 2011 sailing yacht Hemisphere (Project Gemini) has been announced as one of the finalists for the upcoming International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
End of January saw the official re-launch of the 95ft Pendennis charter yacht Margaret Ann, following her extensive 4-month refit at Pendennis Palma. The beautiful Dubois-designed sloop is available for rent in a popular yacht charter destination – the Mediterranean.
In 2013, the prestigious UK builder Pendennis will continue to support Children’s Hospice South West through its Charity Committee. Its last year’s charity events were very popular with the crew of superyacht m5 (ex Mirabella V).
