This year’s Oyster Regatta Palma came to its end. The event was attended by 26 Oyster yachts, divided into three classes. Oyster 885 superyacht Karibu has become the overall winner of Class 1.
Due to the already light NNE breeze, disappearing at noon exactly as forecast, the planned second race of the second day of racing at the Oyster Regatta Palma 2013 had to be abandoned.
Today, October 4, saw the Racing Day 1 of the currently running Oyster Regatta Palma 2013. The lovely Oyster yachts have participated in two races.
Today, October 3, was marked by arrivals day of the 9th annual Oyster Regatta Palma, kicking off tomorrow. The race will be attended by 26 Oyster yachts, measurig from 14 to 30 meters in LOA.
Steve Crowe, managing director of Yachting Pages, will join the superyacht sponsored charity cycle ride, organised by Adrian Long and Lee Mutch from Inter-Nett, a leading superyacht cleaning company, in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Taken place last month, this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma was attended by the majestic J-Class superyacht Rainbow. Her crew included four of the Holland Jachtbouw team.
The last month’s Superyacht Cup Palma featured the majestic 42-metre Pendennis superyacht Rebecca, penned by German Frers.
This year’s GAASTRA Palmavela was marked by the overall victory of the Doyle-powered luxury yacht Bella Mente, taking first place in the MiniMaxi class.
It has been a great success for the Hoek Design yachts at this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma, also sponsored by this prominent Dutch design studio. The first place overall in the SYC class 2 went to Heartbeat yacht.
