The eagerly awaited 2nd edition of Palma Superyacht Show is set to open its doors in four weeks. The largest vessel on display will be the 47m Heesen superyacht ‘Let It Be’.
The Superyacht Cup Palma has proudly announced the new partnership with St Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort. The event will host some of the world’s finest superyachts, including the 2013 winner – the Claasen superyacht Heartbeat.
After six months ashore, the 41m Alloy superyacht Destination was re-launched at STP shipyard yesterday, on March 4, in order to continue her extensive refit afloat.
The breath-taking 74m Amels superyacht Ilona is currently undertaking a refit at STP shipyard in Palma. With the scaffolding now in place, several STP-based specialist refitters have begun work at the firm’s boatyard.
It is a particularly busy period for the Pendennis Palma refit facility. Current projects include such magnificent vessels as sailing yacht Kenora or superyacht Velacarina.
The majestic 53-metre Feadship charter yacht Mirage will be fitted with the latest class compliant superyacht switchboard by ETY, as part of her refit.
The world-renowned superyacht manufacturers have shown their support of the Superyacht Cup Palma 2014. The largest yacht, which has registered for the race so far, is the 57m Royal Huisman superyacht Twizzle.
Solaris Yachts from Italy will be present at the 2014 Palma Boat Show, displaying its 72 Classic yacht, as well as the 72 Deck House yacht. The event will run from April 30 to May 4.
Set to take place from June 18 to 21, the Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 is expected to host over 20 of the world’s finest yachts, including the gorgeous J Class yachts.
Fire drill took place at STP last Saturday, as part of its annual safety programme.
Richard Hudson has become a new General Manager of the Pendennis Palma yacht refit facility. He has collaborated with Pendennis Palma on the refit of charter yacht Margaret Ann and many others.
