The organisers of the Mallorca’s Portals Nautical Weekend has recently presented its rich program, including 60 power as well as sail yachts on display, from such outstanding builders as Fairline, Azimut, Princess, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker and many others.
Following her huge success in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards when winning a ‘Highly Commended’ award, the Oyster 100 sailing yacht Sarafin designed by Dubois has now become a finalist in both the ‘Exterior Design and Styling’ and ‘Newcomer of the Year’ categories in the 2012 Showboats Design Awards.
Following a great success at this year´s Dusseldorf Boat Show when winning the 2012 European Yacht of the Year, the fabulous Oyster 625 charter yacht Blue Jeannie has now received the fantastic 2012 Asia Boating Award in the ‘Best Production Sailing Yacht’ category.
The 45m RMK Marine motor yacht Karia and the Oyster 100 sailing yacht Sarafin, completed by RMK Marine last year, have been both awarded at this year´s World Superyacht Awards – a highly anticipated event held on May 5 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Day 4 of Antigua Sailing Week was another difficult day for competitors, resulting in a large number of incidents as well as a major collision between Oyster 82 superyacht Starry Night of the Caribbean and On Deck’s Farr 65 sailing yacht Spirit of Isis. Tomorrow´s last day of racing will be crucial.
There was an incident this morning on Day 4 of Antigua Sailing Week between the Farr 65 yacht Spirit of Isis belonging to Ondeck team and the Oyster 82 sailing yacht Starry Night of the Caribbean. Fortunately, the incident caused just minor injuries.
The world´s best superyacht builders will attend the Portals Nautical Weekend in Mallorca, running from May 26 to 28, including Princess Yachts, Oyster, Azimut, Sanlorenzo, Fairline and many others. There will also be the eco-friendly motor yacht Greenline 40 Hybrid on display.
Day 3 of this year´s Antigua Sailing Week brought another day of big breeze for competitors of this famous Caribbean race. Farr 115 luxury charter yacht Sojana was beaten today by Santa Cruz 72 sailing yacht Antipodes by less than a minute.
It was another day of the perfect weather conditions for the crews competing in the Antigua Sailing Week 2012, boasting good wind as well as waves. Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana finished first today in CSA 1A.
The first day of the Antigua Sailing Week 2012 will see the famous West Indian cricket legend, Sir Vivian Richards, also called ´King Viv´, to participate at tonight´s imobile Dockyard Festival.
Strong winds arrived today in the fabulous Caribbean yacht charter location – Antigua – playing host to this year´s Antigua Sailing Week. Today´s Guadeloupe to Antigua Race has been won by Verlarde’s NM92 sailing yacht Locura, followed by Stephen Schmidt’s Santa Cruz 70 yacht Hotel California Too, taking second place and the Dufour 45 yacht Triskell placing 3rd. Ross Applebey’s Oyster 48 yacht Scarlet Oyster has won the Racing Division of the ARC.
The inaugural Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, running from April 27 to 29, 2012 will present around 60 sailing yachts from such as important builders, like Oyster, Leopard, Fountaine Pajot and many others, along with plenty of interesting events, including cruising destinations seminars or the Annapolis Nautical Flea Market.
