It was a great pleasure for the prominent UK luxury yacht builder, Oyster Marine, to welcome HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, to its stand at this year’s London Boat Show. The company is displaying its successful Oyster 625 yacht.
Following a great success of two Oyster 100 vessels, Sarafin as well as Penelope, the splendid Oyster 125 sailing yacht Twilight is the third Oyster superyacht and the largest vessel to be completed by the yard to date. She is due to be delivered this Spring.
Set to last 16 months, the first ever Oyster World Rally 2013 kicked off in a fabulous Caribbean yacht charter destination – Antigua – yesterday, with participation of 27 Oyster yachts, including the all-new Oyster 885 superyacht Lush.
A number of exhibitors that will attend the upcoming Tullett Prebon London Boat Show has continued to grow over the Christmas period as well as now after New Year. The event is set to kick off on January 12.
The first ever Oyster World Rally will kick off this Sunday. Conceived to celebrate Oyster’s 40th Anniversary, the event will be hosted by Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua and will be attended by 27 luxurious yachts, all constructed by Oyster.

A total number of 24 Oyster yachts have participated at this year’s 27th edition of Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. These included the beautiful Oyster 885 superyacht Lush that will also take part in the Oyster World Rally in January.
The magnificent Oyster 625 was honoured with the 2013 Boat of The Year Award for Best Bluewater Cruiser at the 20th Annual Boat of the Year awards, held on December 7. Well suited to occasional charter, Oyster 625 provides luxurious accommodation in 5 lovely cabins.
The next Tullett Prebon London Boat Show is expected to kick off in just 5 weeks. It will be attended by such important UK luxury yacht builders as Oyster, Sunseeker, Princess, and many others.
November 12 saw a joint departure of 12 Oyster yachts from Gran Canaria in order to take part in the Oyster World Rally that will kick off in Antigua on January 6. The record number of 39 Oyster yachts will participate in this 2700 mile transatlantic race.
The newest Formula Marine boom design for luxury cruising yachts, the Shark Boom™, is currently being introduced at the METS 2012. It has been fitted on the first Oyster 885 yacht Lush, launched this year.
Luxury sailing yacht PENELOPE, the second Oyster 100 superyacht, has been successfully launched ahead of her delivery to her owners in November.
