Set to run in the lovely Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Monaco next month, the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show will once again feature the New Zealand Street, displaying the strength of New Zealand’s superyacht industry.
A total number of 16 members of the New Zealand Marine Export Group, including such important luxury yacht builders as Alloy Yachts, are currently present at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show 2013, which has officially kicked off today.
Supported by such prestigious superyacht designers as Ed Dubois and Ron Holland, the Friends of NZ Marine programme, an initiative launched by New Zealand Marine Industry Association (NZ Marine) earlier this year, represents a huge success.
April 16 saw the launch of ‘Friends of NZ Marine’; a new social media network, created to see kiwis around the world bring work home. Such important superyacht designers as Ed Dubois and Ron Holland have already signed up.

The 90.00m (295′ 3″) Royal Huisman sailing yacht Athena is due to arrive in New Zealand to receive a superyacht refit by Orams Marine Services. One of the world’s largest private sailing yachts of the modern era and the largest all-aluminum yacht built to date, the three-masted schooner Athena is a remarkable super yacht.
