Plenty of exclusive events marked the 170th anniversary of the prominent Italian luxury yacht builder Riva Yachts, held from June 29 to July 1, along with the presentation of the largest open range boat by Riva, the 63′ Virtus yacht.
The 50 years of the legandary Aquarama yacht as well as the world premiere of the new 63′ Virtus yacht will mark this year’s 170th anniversary of the well known Italian builder Riva, a brand of the Ferretti Group. There will be plenty of events running along the Italian and French Riviera from June 27 to July 1, 2012.
The renowned Italian shipyard Riva, a brand of the Ferretti Group, is proud to announce that its luxury yacht 75′ Venere Super has received the “Best Production Motor Yacht” award in the category between 15m and 24m during the Asian Boating Awards 2012. This year, the company is also celebrating the 170th year of its existence.
New Riva 63´ Virtus yacht is the largest open boat created by the shipyard, represented by an unmistakable style and a distinctly Mediterranean character.
Riva Aquariva yacht tender, created by famous Australian designer Marc Newson in partnership with well-known Officina Italian Design, was presented by Riva at the 36th edition of Arte Fiera, in Bologna, Italy, held in January 27-30, 2012.
Riva presents its two yacht tenders: ISEO and AQUARAMA in two important international events in December: the Millionaire Fair in Amsterdam and the Montecarlo exhibition ´Lo Stile Italiano.´
Riva, will participate at the Millionaire Fair in Amsterdam with its latest creation: Aquariva Gucci tender, a model customized by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini in collaboration with Riva and Officina Italiana Design, the design studio which created the original Aquariva in the year 2000.
