The outstanding 168’ Oceanco charter yacht LADY Z has recently started a major cosmetic and mechanical refit at Derecktor – Florida. This will include the replacement of the existing engines with MTU 16V2000′s.
Six finalists of the 2015 Young Designer of the Year Award have been announced. The winner will be unveiled at the ShowBoats Design Awards Prize Giving, set to be held during the Superyacht Design Symposium in Kitzbühel, Austria on Monday 23 February.

Entries for the 2015 Young Designer of the Year Award will close at midday (GMT) on 9 January, 2015. The winner of the competition will be presented with a gold Neptune trophy and a €5,000 cash prize at the ShowBoats Design Awards, which will be held on February 23, 2015.

Proteksan Turquoise has announced a new Owner. The new investor in the Turkish superyacht builder, with a controlling stake, is Mohammed Al Barwani, who also owns the leading Dutch yacht shipyard, Oceanco.

New 105m super yacht PYC PURE project has been proudly announced by Vitruvius Yachts, in collaboration with Oceanco. With naval architecture by Philippe Briand, the vessel will host up to 24 guests in utmost in luxury.
Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, the impressive 105m Dynarig superyacht is currently under construction at Oceanco. She is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2016.
The recently concluded Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show featured the scale models of the latest 86m-to-120m mega yacht projects by Oceanco. The model of the 86m superyacht Seven Seas, delivered in 2010, was also showcased during the event.
