In order to facilitate yacht immigration process, Gibraltar is launching the new online system, called ASYCUDA (Automated System for Customs Data).
Due to the challenging weather conditions in the Irish Sea as well as Bay of Biscay, the classic sailing yacht HMS Pickle got a sail damage on her way to Gibraltar’s Ocean Village Marina. She is now waiting to be repaired by Northern Spain in order to participate in Trafalgar Day, held on October 21.
The prominent Gibraltar’s Ocean Village Marina will boast a new attraction from mid-September, the 73-foot luxury yacht HMS Pickle. This spectacular tall ship is famous for her role at the Battle of Trafalgar.

In order to stimulate growth in the superyacht sector as well as motivate longer-term berthing in superyacht marinas such as Gibraltar’s Ocean Village, the Gibraltar government has recently announced the abolition of import duty for yachts over 18 meters in length. The resident vessel owners can now keep their yachts in the marinas without any time limit.
The fabulous Ocean Village Marina will host the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Flotilla sailing around Gibraltar on Monday June 4.
The fabulous yacht charter destination – Gibraltar – has decided to celebrate the Queen´s Diamond Jubilee with the Gibraltar Diamond Jubilee Flotilla, consisting of 100 yachts hosted by Ocean Village marina on Monday 4 June.
