The 30th Newport Charter Yacht Show, held from 18th to 21st June, 2012 owned by the Newport Corporation featured such excellent charter yachts as the motor yacht Newvida or the 150 ft superyacht Encore.
For the first time in 20 years, the live America’s Cup racing will come back to network television in the USA, with the transmission of the final day of competing at the Newport AC World Series on NBC.

With Yellowbrick supplying trackers to all 180 competing yachts, the Newport Bermuda Race 2012 kicks off this Friday from the legendary port of Newport in Rhode Island.
The 30th edition of the annual Newport Charter Yacht Show will kick off on June 18, with 24 spectacular yachts registered up-to-date and a double number of exhibitors. There will also be the Culinary Competition for chefs from the charter yachts, which will be on display during the Show.
Currently the first in the leaderboard, the ORACLE TEAM USA Spithill will try to gain the overall victory in the upcoming Newport America’s Cup World Series, running from June 27 to July 1, while Russel Coutts returns to helm boat No. 5.
Preparations for the Newport AC World Series are well underway, with ORACLE TEAM USA currently taking the leading position. This famous US team has also taken part in celebrations of the 75th birthday of the legendary Golden Gate Bridge.
