Newport will host the 42nd edition of the Newport International Boat Show, taking place from September 13 to 16, 2012. Around 750 exhibitors with 600 yachts on display will be present.
The overall winner of the 2012 Newport Bucket Regatta has become the 102ft sailing yacht Indio, designed by German Frers and built by Wally. She has also won in her Gazelles class, while Sejaa yacht took first place in the Mademoiselle class. The next year’s regatta will run from August 23 to 25.
The 30th Newport Charter Yacht Show, held from 18th to 21st June, 2012 owned by the Newport Corporation featured such excellent charter yachts as the motor yacht Newvida or the 150 ft superyacht Encore.
