Launched in 2012, the spectacular 50-metre Fitzroy yacht Ohana was racing for the first time at the last month’s NZ Millennium Cup. The yard is currently working on another magnificent sloop, the 37-metre yacht FY17, scheduled for launch later this year.
The works on three superyacht refit projects, including the 34-metre luxury charter yacht ‘Che’, are in full swing at Oceania Marine Shipyard in the Port Whangarei, New Zealand. The vessels are due to be completed for the upcoming South Pacific charter season.
Several superyacht projects are presently underway at Doyle Sails NZ, including sails for the 43,9m Alloy superyacht Encore that is due to be launched in the first quarter of this year.

Constructed by the NZ builder Lloyd Stevenson, the splendid Loretta Anne superyacht tender is a Fountaine Design Group’s F620 boat. Launched in October 2011, it can achieve an impressive top speed of 43 knots.
One of the foremost NZ Tender manufacturers, Lloyd Stevenson Yachts, has constructed the splendid custom 10-metre Garcon superyacht tender. Designed by Patrick Banfield and Jim Wilshire from Allseas Design, TT Garcon is a highly innovative multi-purpose boat.
The NZ refit company, Oceania Marine, has successfully completed a full exterior repaint of the 30m superyacht Maverick. The vessel was originally built by Kuipers in 2003.
Measuring 61,4 meters in LOA, the impressive superyacht White Rabbit Echo has recently undergone a major refit at New Zealand-based refit company, Integrated Marine Group. The beautiful 2005 trimaran was originally designed by bespoke Sam Sorgiovanni.
Organisers of the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup played host to a stellar evening of cocktails, dancing and the all-important prize giving on the final day of the regatta. The overall victory went to superyacht Zefiro, followed by Silvertip yacht and luxury yacht Ohana, respectively.
The high performance sailing superyachts manufacturer Alloy Yachts’ apprentices have become the overall winners of the 2013 Marine Trades Challenge. The event was held in New Zealand’s Westhaven, on Saturday, February 16.
All of the luxury superyachts participating in the recently concluded NZ Millennium Cup were powered by Southern Spars’ rigs. This year’s overall winner has become the 30-metre sailing yacht Zefiro.
Three luxury vessels designed by the prominent UK studio, Dubois Naval Architects, have participated in the recently concluded NZ Millennium Cup. These include the last year’s winner, Silvertip yacht, that took second place this year.
