Royal Huisman’s Huisfit in the Netherlands has completed several important refits in the first half of 2013, including the 70m Lurssen mega yacht Skat, the 93m Lurssen 3-masted schooner Eos, Heartbeat yacht, as well as Nixe II yacht.
The refit of the glorious 41-metre charter yacht This Is Us (ex Skylge) is in full swing at the Dutch shipyard, Holland Jachtbouw. She is due to be re-launched this autumn.
Building of the spectacular 46m Tripp Design yacht will start at Holland Jachtbouw in the Netherlands at the end of this summer. She is presently in the design and engineering phase.
The Holland Jachtbouw team can now enjoy the new, upgraded facilities, enabling a much better overview of each yacht project.
Designed by well known Dutch design studio Dykstra Naval Architects, the historic charter yacht Stad Amsterdam has recently hosted His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, as part of the “Saamhorigheidsdag” of the Royal Navy, celebrating the 525th anniversary of the Dutch Navy.
Created for a 76-metre mega yacht, the first ELITE line yacht tender has been launched by the Dutch yard, X-Craft. It can comfortably host up to 11 guests.
Due to be completed in the middle of next year, the hull of the magnificent superyacht Wolfhound is currently under construction at the Dutch shipyard, Graafship. This schooner represents a John G Alden’s design 327, which Alden penned for himself in 1927, but has never been constructed.

The breath-taking 2013 superyacht Crazy Me (YN 16250) by Heesen is believed to have been handed over to her new Owner. She features luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests.
The all-new 40m superyacht Apostrophe by Hakvoort has been successfully delivered and she is currently about to start her maiden voyage in Norway. After her Norwegian adventure, she is set to wow the crowds at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, running in September.
The brand-new 55m Amels LE180 superyacht Kamalaya is believed to have been handed over to her new Owner. Designed by Tim Heywood, she is a sistership to Step One yacht and luxury yacht Engelberg.
