The impressive 74m Nobiskrug mega yacht Mogambo has been announced as “Best Motor Yacht” in the category of 1300 GT and above at this year’s World Superyacht Awards. She is entirely designed by acclaimed Reymond Langton Design.
The magnificent 47-metre superyacht Lady Petra by Heesen Yachts was awarded a prestigious Neptune in the category ‘Best Motor Yacht Below 500 GT’ at the World Superyacht Awards 2013, handed over during the Awards ceremony in Istanbul, on May 4.

Three British Marine Federation (BMF) and Superyacht UK (SYUK) members, including Pendennis, Green Marine, as well as Princess Yachts, have been recognized at this year’s World Superyacht Awards, held in Istanbul on May 4.
Green Marine launched WallyCento superyacht Hamilton has become the first Grand Prix racing yacht to be recognised at the World Superyacht Awards. She has won a Judge’s Special Award for Performance, in the Sailing Yacht 30-39m category.
Two World Superyacht Awards 2013 went to the Royal Huisman superyacht Pumula in the categories: ‘Sailing Yacht of Year’ as well as ‘Best Sailing Yacht 30m – 39m’. She boasts beautiful interior designed by Rhoades Young Design.
Holland Jachtbouw’s J Class superyacht Rainbow was honoured with the World Superyacht Award 2013 in the ‘Sailing Yachts 39M+’ category, handed over during the Awards ceremony on May 4.
The highly anticipated 8th edition of the World Superyacht Awards took place on May 4, 2013. The ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ award went to the 47m Alloy superyacht Loretta Anne, while the ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ award received the 37m Royal Huisman yacht Pumula.
With only ten days to go until this year’s eagerly awaited World Superyacht Awards, the sponsors of this prestigious event, to be held at the magnificent Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul, have been presented. One of these is the respected Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise, a builder of 73m mega yacht Vicky.
Luxury yacht Mogambo and charter yacht Excellence V have been shortlisted to participate in the upcoming ShowBoats Design Awards. They were both designed by renowned London-based firm, Reymond Langton Design.
The nominations for the upcoming ShowBoats Design Awards will close this Friday. This year’s winners will be revealed on March 5.
The awaited 2013 World Superyacht Awards Finalists have been recently unveiled by Boat International Media. The winners will be presented during the gala evening that will take place at the fabulous Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul on May 4. The nominations for the Voyager’s Award remain open until the 31 January.
