Racing on the first day of the Rolex Swan Cup 2012 kicked off in the afternoon, due to the morning’s light wind. Racing Day 1 brought victory to Bronenosec yacht in Maxi, Natalia in Grand Prix and Ondineyacht in Classic class. The first and second place in the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship went to luxury yachts Earlybird and TalJ.
Almost 60 luxurious sailing yachts built by the prominent Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan, will take part in this year’s 17th edition of Rolex Swan Cup, held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The largest of these is the 35-metre Swan 112 charter yacht Highland Breeze.
The next edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 starts on 18 February 2013. Along with this year’s winner, the 215-foot superyacht Hetairos, the 2013 race will be attended by such spectacular vessels as the 180ft megayacht Adela or the 203ft luxury yacht Athos and many others.

Three days of inshore competition at this year’s Giraglia Rolex Cup brought a great success for a high number of Swan yachts, competing in this popular race from St Tropez, France to Sanremo, Italy. The Swan 53 sailing yacht Ondine placed first in the IRC B fleet, while the Swan 45 luxury yacht Mandolino took second place in the ORC A fleet, along with the Swan 60 yacht Bronenosec, placing third in the IRC o fleet.
