The superb 42m Moonen luxury yacht Sofia has received the judges’ commendation for displacement motoryacht below 500 GT at the recent World Superyacht Awards 2014.
Originally built by Moonen Yachts to a design by Rene van der Velden in 2007, the Moonen 84 superyacht Etoile d’Azur underwent a comprehensive refit at her home yard last year. Since then, she has enjoyed a new series of adventures in the Atlantic.
Set to start tomorrow, this year’s 29th annual Palm Beach Boat Show will feature such outstanding vessels as the the 145ft Benetti charter yacht Lady Sheila and many others.

Two luxury vessels built by Moonen will be exhibited at this month’s Palm Beach International Boat Show, running from March 20 to 23. These include the Moonen 124 charter yacht Northlander, as well as the Moonen 97 yacht Sofia II.
Moonen Shipyards will be present at the 2014 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, showcasing three luxury vessels. These will include the 42m superyacht SOFIA – the largest Moonen built to date.

Originally launched by Moonen shipyard in 2007, the Moonen 94 superyacht Infinity has been beautifully reffited by Endeavour Quay. The well known UK refit facility did an interview with the Captain of Inifnity, expressing his satisfaction with the works performed on the vessel.
The forthcoming Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will feature the highly innovative 42-metre superyacht Sofia by Moonen. The vessel boasts beautiful interior design by Art-Line, as well as a three-seat submarine.
The leading Dutch shipyard, Moonen, will build the 24-metre superyacht Mallorca, representing the first luxury vessel in a new custom-series, created in partnership with Nick Mezas.
