Moonen Shipyards in the Netherlands has announced that its largest project to date, which was originally slated to be a Moonen 133 (133 feet in length), has been extended by a further four feet to become a Moonen 137. The fully customised 42 metre Moonen will now carry a submarine that is capable of seating three passengers instead of the originally specified two.
Fresh from winning the Best Power 24-40 m prize at the ISS Design & Leadership Awards, the Moonen 124 Northlander has also now been nominated as a finalist in the Motor Boat of the Year Awards 2011.
