Running from February 14 to 17, the dates for 2013 NZ Millennium Cup have been announced, with three entries already confirmed, including this year’s overall winner, the 34m Yachting Developments superyacht Silvertip, the 39.6m Alloy luxury yacht Janice of Wyoming, as well as the 31m Alloy charter yacht Pacific Eagle.

The 2012 NZ Millennium Cup has been won by the 34m superyacht Silvertip by Yachting Developments. This beautiful composite sloop won both the International Superyacht Society award for Best Sailing Yacht and the Showboats Design Award for Best Sailing Yacht when launched in 2002.
Alloy 48.5m charter yacht Georgia has become today the comfortable winner of the first race in 2012 Millennium Cup. This spectacular Alloy vessel was the first 2000 superyacht to be launched, and that time also the largest sloop in the world.
The NZ Millennium Cup 2012 started today at 11am in Auckland, with a harbour race. It will be followed with 11am starts on Friday and Saturday with races from Viaduct Harbour to the inner Hauraki Gulf islands and back.
Visitors of this year´s NZ Millennium Cup will be able to enjoy close-up views of an impressive fleet of luxury superyachts during the race, held in February 16-18.
