The prominent Italian luxury yacht builder, Baglietto, proudly presented its new book ‘Baglietto – 160 years of Italian Boatbuilding’ in Italy’s Milan on December 1, 2014. The book has been edited by three journalists experts of the yachting sector, Mr. Roberto Franzoni, Mr. Dominique Gabirault and Mr. Justin Ratcliffe.
Measuring impressive 110 meters in length, the all-new super yacht Primadonna concept, coded DP028, has been superbly penned by Hot Lab yacht & design, based on the Oceanco hull platform. The 1:50 scale model of Primadonna will be showcased at the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show in September.

The Brigantino S. Giorgio an historic Benetti Sailing Ship measures 51 metres and was built entirely in wood in 1921 at the Benetti shipyard in Viareggio. At the time, she was the largest brigantine on the Mediterranean. It is one of the largest sailing ships preserved inside of a museum.
The Nautical Design Awards prize is a new recognition for the yachting design, recently established and organized by ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, the fifty year old association that awards the Compasso d’oro, the most prestigious design prize of the World) and the magazine Yacht & Sail.
