This year’s Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) exceeded all the expectations and set the tone for the marine equipment sector. The event welcomed 1,358 exhibitors from 48 countries, along with 21,086 visitors.
The latest M60 Motion Pulse superyacht concept by CentroStile was presented with a 1:100 scale model during the 2014 METS. The vessel is a 60-metre maxi yacht, with extreme lines that mainly resembles a military boat.
Currently under construction in Western Australia, the impressive 84m Echo mega yacht will feature a luxurious guest elevator by Lift Emotion. This is scheduled for completed by September 2015.
Sealegs has launched an amphibious kit for superyacht tender builders, turning their own craft into land and sea vehicles. The system is expected to prove particularly popular with explorer yachts as it presents an answer to landing in remote and challenging places.
