The Superyacht Cup regatta in Palma which celebrates its 16th anniversary this year, is once again receiving valuable support and sponsorship from many leading superyacht industry companies who contribute significantly to the success of the event which this year runs from 22-25 June 2011.
The third SW 100 RS Sailing Yacht CAPE ARROW was launched by Southern Wind in Cape Town on the 22nd of April 2011 after few days of delay due to an exceptional strong wind, which did not allow a safe transportation from the yard to the harbour. The SW 100 RS hull n° 3 CAPE ARROW will leave Cape Town to the Mediterranean in approximately one month after the usual sea and systems trials.

Wally Yachts and the Financial Times have joined forces to launch a new Maxi Yacht racing series. The FT Wally Grand Prix Series is a unique series of races for the world’s largest fleet of Maxi racing yachts. The racing teams feature sailing’s premier talent from the America’s Cup and the Olympics together with some of the most prominent captains of industry. The series takes place between April and October, moving between the Mediterranean’s most glamorous and vibrant sailing locations.

The 5th Antibes Yacht Show took place in the largest harbour in Europe, Antibes from April 7th – 10th, 2011.
