In order to capture and re-use as much of the resource in the waste as possible across its UK luxury yacht marinas, MDL Marinas has presented its new ‘zero to landfill’ waste solution.
The highest standard possible from The Yacht Harbour Association, the Five Gold Anchor status, has been achieved by the MDL’s Mercury Yacht Harbour.
MDL charity auction for the Ocean Youth Trust South has been a great success at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show. The company has raised an impressive £51,180.

This year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show is being marked by two special events of MDL Marinas, celebrating the success of its Mediterranean marina network.
The Green Blue (TGB), the environmental initiative of the Royal Yachting Association and the British Marine Federation congratulated the MDL’s Port Hamble Marina for completing the TGB Marine Toolkit. The luxury yacht marina was recognised for the positive steps it has taken to make the marina more sustainable.
Following its recent refurbishment of the premises, the MDL Marinas’ Shamrock Quay now has a full house of business tenants.
Operated by the Ocean Youth Trust South, the 72-foot sailing yacht John Laing is currently hosting the winners of the 2013 MDL Sail Training Awards for a six-day trip at sea.
Three of the MDL Marinas south coast luxury yacht marinas, including Mercury Yacht Harbour, Port Hamble as well as Northney Marina, have recently achieved the Five Gold Anchors status from The Yacht Harbour Association for their design, construction and operation.
Voting for the Winners of the MDL’s 2013 Photographer of the Year as well as MDL’s 2013 Under 16s Photographer of the Year has been open on the Facebook page of MDL Marinas from August 14, 2013 and will end 12 noon, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.
Thanks to a new agreement with the Public Ports of Andalusia, MDL berth holders will be provided with the new cruising opportunities in the lovely Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Spain.
Today, Friday, July 19, 2013, saw the official opening of the all-new MDL Marina del Gargano, positioned in the popular summer yacht charter location – Italy. This lovely marina can accommodate yachts of up to 60m in LOA.
