One of the world’s best ocean racers, Giovanni Soldini, has arrived at Dennis Conner’s North Cove in New York City to challenge the New York to San Francisco sailing record aboard his 70-foot sailing yacht Maserati.

The 70ft race yacht Maserati, skippered by Italian Giovanni Soldini, left the Dennis Conner´s North Cove superyacht marina in NYC to break the Trans-Atlantic Record, set by the 43m sailing yacht Senso One (ex Mari Cha IV) in 2003.
