Following this year’s America’s Cup in San Francisco, San Diego-based Marine Group Boat Works is seeing a historic number of superyachts in its facilities, as well as a sister marina, Fifth Avenue Landing.
Marine Group Boat Works from San Diego has been honoured with the 2nd annual Inc. Hire Power Award for 56 jobs, which the company generated from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.
Before entering California ports, non-commercial vessels greater than 300 tons have to face difficult and costly reporting requirements, as required by current law. The recently signed Assembly Bill 2005 keeps this requirement but permits vessels an expanded time frame for compliance.
