Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw has recently acquired Jachtwerf Bloemsma Makkum, part of Bloemsma Van Breemen Shipyard, and they have merged into new yard “BLOEMSMA.” This will focus on aluminium hulls and superstructure parts for motoryachts.
The new 22m motor yacht Sossego Comfort 22 is currently under construction at Gebr. van Enkhuizen in Makkum, the Netherlands. Set to make her world premiere at the 2015 HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show in September, this lovely vessel has been designed to achieve an amazing top speed of 38 knots.

On Saturday 16 April K&M Yachtbuilders, builder of aluminium custom-built sailing yachts, will be opening its doors to the public. From 10 am to 4 pm everyone will be welcome in Makkum to familiarise themselves with the shipyard and its work according to the ‘tried and tested formula’: various yachts under construction, several vessels ready for sailing and two speeches. All of the K&M “lines” will be represented: Bestevaer, Stadtship, Axonite and Bestewind.
