Two of the most distinct members of the Lurssen superyacht fleet, the 63m Motor yacht Polar Star and the 78m megayacht TV (ex Mad Summer) have recently completed yacht refinishing projects at Rybovich Shipyard in West Palm Beach, Fl. Both projects were executed simultaneously by the Rybovich Refinishing Team in custom climate controlled enclosures erected in the water.

The 84m motor yacht Valerie has been launched at the Lürssen Werft yard in Rendsburg, Germany. Yacht Valerie was known under the project name Firebird (hull 13660). Superyacht Valerie is the first yacht to be launched by the Lürssen yard this year.
Yacht KATARA is a Lurssen built 124.4 metre (408’14”) superyacht with naval architecture designed by the Lurssen in-house naval architects, and exterior design by the celebrated design team Espen Oeino International based in Monaco. Yacht Solemates, a 60m (196′ 10″) German built Lurssen superyacht launched in 2010 is the first yacht of its kind to offer charter clients control of its various high-tech systems via iPad. The Ipad device controls the onboard entertainment, climate and lighting and blind systems and is even able summons crewmembers to bring canapés and refreshments.
