To be launched by the Dutch builder Damen Shipyards, the 67m support vessel Garçon is to become a support vessel to the 87m Lurssen megayacht ACE. Currently under sea trials, Garçon is the largest SEA AXE vessel. It will be on display along with its mother ship at the next Monaco Yacht Show.
Built by the prominent German manufacturer Lurssen and designed by well known Andrew Winch, the exceptional 87m ACE superyacht has been recently anchored in Portlant Harbour. Andrew Weir Yacht Management was responsible for various services required by this Lurssen jewel.
Paul Allen’s luxury superyacht Octopus will help with recovery of H.M.S. Hood’s Bell later on this month. It is a unique opportunity to see this 2003 Lurssen in the UK waters.
Lurssen Yachts is currently at the final stages of the negotiations related to the acquisition of a shipyard located in Hamburg. When finalised, the Norderwerft yard will be the 6th yard owned by Lurssen and it will focus on repair and refit work.
Following the 155m superyacht Al Said, the second largest vessel built by Lurssen has successfully completed sea trials. The 147m megayacht TOPAZ can sleep 12 guests in the maximum comfort and luxury.

May 30 saw the first official presentation of the freshly refitted 71m charter yacht Titania (ex Apoise) by Lurssen. This extraordinary vessel now provides 7 luxurious cabins for 12 guests in total.
Presumed to be 180 metres and called mega yacht Project AZZAM, the Lurssen yacht will be the world’s largest luxury yacht when launched.
The Vegesack Rowing Club hosted once again five teams competing in the Lurssen Rowing Regatta, running on May 11, 2012. This famous event was also attended by designers from the Terence Disdale as well as Reymond Langton Design offices, along with a few Lürssen employees.
