The overall winning yacht of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2010 will be named on the perpetual Silver Cup which is displayed in the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The owner of the vessel will be presented with a unique hand blown glass sculpture by Chihuly (pictured left) made especially for the event reflecting the colours of the Sardinian waters.
Demand is still strong for a place in the fleet of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta and the diversity exemplified by the substantial entry list of yachts is testament to the first class racing conditions of the Costa Smeralda and the popularity of this annual event.
The Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2010 will be held from the 8th – 12th of June 2010 in the enchanting village of Porto Cervo on the northern coast of Sardinia, hosted by the exclusive Yacht Club Costa Smeralda,
