The inaugural Classic Boat Award 2013 in the European Spirit of Tradition class went to the beautiful 40m classic yacht Rainbow by Holland Jachtbouw.
Built by Green Marine, the beautiful 30-metre WallyCento superyacht Hamilton has been nominated as a finalist for both the 2013 ShowBoats Design Awards as well as the 2013 International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
Both designed by renowned Reymond Langton, the 74m Nobiskrug mega yacht MOGAMBO as well as the 60m Abeking & Rasmussen charter yacht EXCELLENCE V have been selected as finalists for the highly anticipated World Superyacht Awards 2013.
This year’s Tullett Prebon London Boat Show saw MDL Marinas sign a deal with French marina operator Sagemor that sees MDL’s Freedom Berthing network grow to 70 marinas across Europe.
All-new Sunseeker Manhattan 73 yacht has been recently captured by society favourite photographer Sam Pelly in central London. The vessel has been kept at St. Katharine’s Dock since mid-January but is set to leave for the Mediterranean at the end of this week, after being showcased during the Brit Awards which will be held tomorrow.
Vain Interiors has been nominated for the 2013 International Yacht and Aviation Award 2013 for the beautiful interiors aboard the 77 m Hanseatic mega yacht Smeralda. The vessel itself has also been shortlisted for the Asia Pacific Yacht and Aviation Award 2013. The winners will be announced on April 19.
The ClubSwan members gathered in London on February 6 to participate in an exclusive reception hosted by Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Nautor’s Swan, together with ClubSwan partners Gazprom as well as the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg (SPBYC).
To be once again hosted by ExCeL London, the next year’s London Boat Show will take place one week earlier so as not to clash with the start of boot Dusseldorf, as recently announced by National Boat Shows and the British Marine Federation (BMF). The event will run from January 4 to 12.

This year’s London Boat Show was a great success. The event was attended by 93,327 visitors in total and was marked by more than 40 launches.
