The impressive and robust 67m research motor yacht Golden Shadow was hosted by Rivergate Marina & Shipyard for maintenance and repair works. Launched by Campbell Shipyards in 1995, the vessel is part of the Golden Fleet and is available for scientific purposes worldwide in support of the Living Oceans Foundation.
This year’s Perseus Award has been received by HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan, a founder of the Living Oceans Foundation. He has made his Golden Fleet’s superyachts Golden Odyssey, Golden Shadow and Golden Osprey available for this foundation, assisting scientists learn more about the world’s oceans.
Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation is currently running the Global Reef Expedition: Science Without Borders®, hosted by the 1994 67m luxury motor yacht Golden Shadow, built by Campbell Shipyard.
