MARINE Industry Events (MIE), the organiser of the 2011 Liverpool Boat Show, has today announced the cancellation of the inaugural event.
Liverpool, famous for being the most successful European City of Culture, is hosting its first Liverpool Boat Show in 2011 from April 29th to May 8th. And now visitors can also join in celebrations of what festival bosses are billing their “decade of laughter.” Organisers of the Liverpool Comedy Festival have moved the dates of their event to coincide with the Boat Show.
Tickets for the Liverpool Boat Show 2011 are now on sale. The highly anticipated new boating show is set to attract 400,000 visitors when it takes place from April 29 to May 8 in the historic waterside surroundings of the Albert Dock on the banks of the River Mersey.

Companies such as Credit Suisse, Barclays Wealth Management, Nautors Swan and Ernst and Young gathered aboard the historic square-rigger, the Earl of Pembroke to discuss the plans for the corporate involvement in the Liverpool Boat Show.
